On the occasion of the opening of the poetic spectacle ‘Luna Luna’ on 3 June 1987 in Hamburg by André Heller, Keith Haring painted several large panels - story walls, designed three posters and created this pop-up paper carousel that shows the original carousel and two of the panels.
Some of the most important contemporary artists participated in this project, for example Baselitz, Basquiat, Beuys, Dali, Lichtenstein etc. The original objects in the park were on display in Los Angeles and New York from 2023.
