Robert Indiana designed the invitation and the poster for the exhibition "amerikanische graphik - serigraphien und lithographien",  which ran in March/April 1967 at the Galerie Der Spiegel in Cologne. He also designed the poster for "Kunstmarkt Köln", the first fair for international modern and contemporary art in 1967, a fair co-founded by Hein Stünke, the owner of the Galerie Der Spiegel. There was a fine relationship between Robert Indiana and Eva and Hein Stünke, as evidenced by this poster with its dedication.
