order no. 19022

Invitation to the first exhibition of the two artists in Germany. An early and rare document of the power of American art in Europe and Germany
after World War II. The exhibition was hosted in collaboration with the galleries Castelli / New York and La Tartaruga / Rome. Galerie 22 in Düsseldorf existed only from 1957 to 1960 and was directed by Jean-Pierre Wilhelm. It was one of the few and most important galleries for contemporary art and avantgarde art in Germany.
