Almir Mavignier, born 1925 in Rio de Janeiro, painter and graphic designer, studies at the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Ulm (Germany) under Max Bill and Joseph Albers, numerous poster designs: 55 posters for the Museum Ulm (Germany), many posters for the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe in Hamburg (Germany), member of the Zero group, participant of the documenta in Kassel (1964 and 1968), professorship of painting at the Staatliche Hochschule für bildende Künste in Hamburg, lives in Hamburg.
