The motive of the poster is an Ink Drawing on Howoll paper from 1951, signed and dated, acquired for the Collection Dr. Bernhard Sprengel.
The exhibition was organized by the Marlborough Fine Art Gallery and was shown in London, Düsseldorf, Zürich, Rom and Mailand. The aim was to open up the European market for Pollock's works.
